They have a continued pattern of cover up and neglect among there caregivers.

People are left in wet and soiled diapers, stealing property, given meds directly in mouth, (not permited)

unless a reg. nurse or dr. almost always neglect - sleeping and not feeding client.

You can't work for them and let them know what you see as a caregiver ( other caregivers neglect and abuse of seniors) . Management is very poor, caregivers are not taught or screened well at all very bad epmloyee's in general. If you get a good caregiver it would be by accident and most good caregivers quit because of poorly run company.

This is true at many Home Instead locations.Little or no background screening means anyone can be hired to work unsupervised in an elderly person's home.

The worst part is that when clients complain about "caregiver" neglect or stolen property, Home Instead management does nothing except perhaps reassign the employee.

Complaining to company headquarters about the franchisee may result in an internal inquiry, but the client will never hear from them.

Home Instead is in business for one thing That is to make money. KEEP THIS IN MIND!!!This goes for all the Franchises in every state.

The founder of the Co has NO experience in health care In fact he worked for Merry Maids before starting Home Instead.

Their managers and office staff are sub par along with their caregivers.Sign the contract for their services is all they are interested in after that you are not an interest just as long as you send payment for their so called services.

I have 12 different caregivers in a 2 week stretch for my father that had dementia His meds were not given and he became agitated. Don't have to be a rocket scientists to know consistency with seniors is important. Under Home Instead my fathers condition became worse. Complaint to Home Instead was useless. Their caregivers are NOT trained or have experience with senior medical conditions. 7 caregivers that were sent to my home stated that they had no experience with dementia and was not comfortable caring for my father.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

RUN AN ADD IN PAPER DO BACKGROUND CHECKS AND ASK FOR REFERENCES YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF AND HAVE LESS STRESS WORRYING ABOUT POOR CARE THAT HOME INSTEAD PROV :cry IDES
